One of the defining characteristics of both startup and country life is the frequency with which we get hit by storms of all descriptions.With respect to living in a rural mountainous area, these events run the gamut from hail one morning in July (and the resultant loss of an entire apple crop to insurance that year) to heavy duty winter snow storms where we have had more than a foot of snow fall during a single day.
