Since the advent of e-mail, and my concomitant use of it starting back in the mid-1990’s, there are few days in memory that I have not ‘checked in’. I was definitely a latecomer to social media of all forms and even the use of a cell phone (which I still reluctantly tote around in my purse), but I have used e-mail almost exclusively to all other forms of communication for the past 20 years.
